The 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T stands as one of the most visually arresting and collectible E-body Mopars ever produced. Launched for the 1970 model year as Chrysler’s answer to the Mustang and Camaro, the Challenger arrived late to the pony car party but made an immediate and lasting impression with its long, wide body, dramatic proportions, and an engine lineup that included some of the most powerful V8s available in any American production car. The numbers-matching 440 Magnum V8 is fed by the factory four-barrel carburetor and exhausts through the factory dual exhaust with polished tips, mated to the original A727 TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic transmission. The A36 Performance Axle Package with 3.55 Sure Grip differential completes a correct and fully documented drivetrain.

The restoration was conducted as a no-expense-spared project utilizing NOS parts wherever factory components could not be properly restored, with careful attention to hardware finishing and correct overspray details throughout — including an undercarriage that presents as impressively as the exterior.
