Car Overview

Description
The GTO Judge needs no introduction among muscle car enthusiasts. Launched mid-year in 1969 as Pontiac’s answer to the budget muscle movement, The Judge quickly became one of the most visually arresting and culturally iconic packages of the entire muscle car era. With its bold graphics, rear spoiler, and standard Ram Air III engine, The Judge was designed to make a statement — and five decades later, it still does. Documented factory Judge examples are increasingly rare and highly sought after by serious collectors, making authentic PHS-verified cars a genuine prize in today’s market.
This example began life as a factory Ram Air III Judge and has been treated to a full nut-and-bolt, body-off-frame restoration completed in 2023, restored to its original factory color combination of Carousel Red over a black TMI vinyl interior. Power now comes from a BluePrint Engines 6.2L LS3 V8 producing 525 horsepower, fed through ceramic-coated Hooker long-tube headers and a Pypes Performance dual exhaust for a commanding exhaust note. A Tremec 5-speed manual transmission with a McLeod Super Street Pro twin-disc clutch puts that power to the ground through a new Ford 9-inch rear with 3.50 gears.
The chassis has been fully upgraded with tubular upper and lower control arms up front, QA1 coilover shocks on all four corners, and a Right Stuff Big-Brake package with disc brakes front and rear — delivering handling and stopping capability that matches the engine’s considerable output. Eighteen-inch front and twenty-inch rear wheels fill the arches with an aggressive, purposeful stance that honors the Judge’s original bold proportions.
Inside, the restoration is equally thorough, with TMI vinyl upholstery throughout including an upholstered trunk compartment, Dakota Digital VHX gauges, a tilt steering column, power windows, vintage air conditioning, and an AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth. The build is accompanied by PHS documentation, build receipts, and component manuals — providing full transparency on a restomod that respects the Judge’s legendary status while delivering a thoroughly modern driving experience.
